FAQ

How long does installation take?

A typical rooftop solar project of around 100 kWp to 500 kWp commercial solar installation takes 8 to 12 weeks from the initial site survey to final commissioning.

The timeline depends on the size of the project, roof condition, system design, equipment availability, and the approvals required from the local DISCOM. A smaller and straightforward rooftop project may move faster, while a larger or more complex installation can require additional time for engineering and electrical work.

The process normally starts with a site assessment and system design, followed by documentation and approvals. Once these are complete, the mounting structure, solar panels, inverters, and electrical equipment are installed. The system then goes through testing before it is connected to the grid and commissioned.

SolarMaxx provides turnkey solar solutions covering design, engineering, procurement, construction, testing & commissioning and grid connection, helping businesses manage the entire project through one team.
